Art is in the eye of the beholder so just about anything can be classified as such. Broken CDs might not be your first thought when you’re thinking about art, but Sean Avery is different. When he sees a broken CD, he sees a sculpture.
He forms his work by gluing broken CDs to wire mesh to form animals. The work takes quite some time, but here are some great examples of his finished products.
