Arizona has had record high temperatures in the last few days, topping out at nearly 122 degrees, which is the current record made in 1990. It’s so sweltering that flights are being cancelled and things are melting all over the place. When it gets that hot, the temperature of the sidewalk can get up near 170 degrees.
So, people who live there are melting things and posting pictures of the results. It’s shocking how much damage that heat can do to things outside. Don’t ever walk outside without shoes in temps this high – you’ll be sorry.
