IKEA Customers Have Ingenious Response To Balenciaga’s $2K Luxury Tote Bag

IKEA shoppers are familiar with the plastic blue Frakta tote bag the company offers for just 99 cents. But would they be willing to buy a knockoff – for $2,145!?
It doesn’t seem so, as social media has blown up mocking luxury designer Balenciaga’s recent offering of a seemingly similar (and just as useful) tote bag which is listed at over two thousand bucks.
Sure, there are some differences. The high end bag is made of leather and includes gold-flaked straps. But, can you make a hat out of it? Or underwear?
That would be nuts. But the same can’t be said for the IKEA version. In fact, enterprising shoppers are re-purposing the cheaper bag into all manner of useful accessories, some of them quite ingenious.
