We all learned in science class that animals have different defense mechanisms. Rattlesnakes rattle. Skunks spray. Turtles use their hard shell. And other animals use camouflage.
Take the uroplatus gecko pictured above. From this particular angle, the gecko is “easier” to spot. But it does do a great job of blending in with the tree. Other animals you’re about to see are a bit harder to spot. In fact, you might not spot them at all but you’ll have to take our word for it that they are indeed in the picture… somewhere.
