Psychology has met Architecture. Artist Federico Babina’s new gallery, ‘Archiatric,’ is a fascinating effort at representing mental illnesses as houses. Each house is rendered in a way that depicts a particular disorder.
Along with the images, we’ve provided the medical definition of each disorder or mental illness. We’ve provided something more: the names of a few celebrities or historical figures who were either diagnosed or strongly suspected as suffering that disorder.
